We are excited to announce that we are participating in a terrific program to recycle inkjet and laserjet cartridges. This program is a safe, simple, quick and easy way of raising money for our organization. Empty inkjet and laser cartridges can be collected from printers at home, places of employment and from co-workers or neighbours. Cartridges can be brought to our offices, or contact us to have them collected.

This program is based on the premise that we can earn money for Girls Incorporated and help recycle at the same time. This also gives us the opportunity to take part in protecting the planet by cutting down on the amount of trash in our overloaded landfills.

When empty cartridges are brought to our Bayly Street office, we recommend that they be put in a plastic bag to prevent any possible leakage on hands, clothing, backpacks, etc.

With your assistance, this green and profitable way to raise money will enable us to enhance the quality programs we deliver to girls and young women in Durham Region.
